Jamaat also calls blockade, hartal

After BNP’s announcement, Jamaat-e-Islami has also called a blockade and a hartal to press home their demands.

Acting Secretary General of the party Maulana ATM Masum made the announcement in a statement on Monday evening.

According to the announcement, a countrywide blockade will be imposed on Wednesday (November 29), and a countrywide hartal on Thursday (November 30).

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the programs in a press briefing on Monday (November 27) afternoon to press home their one-point demand for resignation of the government, non-partisan government during the polls and release of prisoned leaders.
