BNP`s dawn-to-dusk hartal underway

A dawn-to-dusk hartal enforced by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and its like-minded parties is underway across the country on Thursday (November 30).

The hartal started at 6am and will continue till 6pm.

On Monday afternoon, the party announced the programme at a virtual press briefing, demanding polls under a non-party interim government.

Earlier, the 24-hour blockade enforced by the BNP and its ally on Wednesday morning was marked by stray incidents of torching vehicles.
