AL postpones peace rally 

Awami League's (AL) Dhaka South City unit has postponed its a peace and development rally scheduled for Friday (April 26) in front of party's central office of Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital.

Riaz Uddin Riaz, office secretary of Awami League's (AL) Dhaka South City unit, confirmed the news on Monday (April 22).

The rally has been postponed as police did not give permission. The new date will be announced later, he said.

AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader was scheduled to present at the rally as the chief guest
