Benazir, Aziz are not AL men: Quader

“Former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed and Army Chief Aziz Ahmed do not belong to Awami League. Awami League did not make them. They have come to their positions with their qualifications,” said Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.

He made the remarks while addressing a meeting organized on the occasion of the Historic Six-Point Day and celebrations of platinum jubilee of Bangladesh Awami League on June 23 in the capital’s Dhanmondi on Tuesday (June 4).

Obaidul Quader said, “Benazir and Aziz are not people of Awami League. They became the heads of their respective forces with their respective qualifications. Sheikh Hasina has the honest courage to try their misdeeds when they will come to light.”
