According to the report of a human rights organization, as many as 875 people were killed across Bangladesh during the mass uprising between July and August. Of them, at least 422 BNP leaders and activists were killed.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made the claim while addressing a press conference on the occasion of International Democracy Day at the BNP Chairperson’s office in the capital’s Gulshan on Sunday (September 15).
