Stage being set up in front of Jamuna for AL ban

A stage is being erected at the Hotel Intercontinental intersection in front of the Chief Adviser’s residence, state guesthouse Jamuna, with an aim to press for a complete ban on the Awami League (AL).

The work to erect the stage began on Friday morning. The work is now in full swing. The stage is being quickly set up by parking five trucks side by side.

Students and people have taken a position in front of the Jamuna demanding that the Awami League be banned as a party of genocide and fascism. The sit-in programme, which began around 10 pm on Thursday, is still underway.
