BNP leader Ishraque Hossain has called for the resignation of Local Government Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan and Information Adviser Mahfuz Alam.
He made the demand in his verified Facebook page on Wednesday (May 21) morning.
“I urge Advisers Asif Mahmud and Mahfuz Alam to resign from all responsibilities of the interim government following political etiquette. Since it is apparent that you are associated with a political party, it indicates that both of you will be directly associated in the future. And it is also clear that you will hold elections. So is it unreasonable to demand your resignation? Or will this be the right step and will end the political debate about you,” Ishraque wrote in the post on Wednesday morning.
