NCP holding protest rally in front of EC

The leaders and activists of the National Citizen Party (NCP) are holding a protest rally in front of the Election Building demanding the speedy reconstitution of the Election Commission and holding local government elections.

They started the program around 12pm on Wednesday (May 21). There are around 100 leaders and activists of the party at the rally.

Masum Billah, a representative of NCP's Kalabagan thana unit, delivered a welcome speech at the protest rally.

The NCP organized this program to protest the role of the EC in publishing the gazette declaring BNP backed candidate Ishraque Hossain as mayor of the DSCC based on the court verdict.
