Mirza Abbas`s 10-point election manifesto

Staff Correspondent: The wife of BNP-endorsed mayor for Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mirza Abbas has unveiled his 10-point manifesto with a slogan to build a livable Dhaka city.

 

His wife Afroza Abbas unveiled the 10-point charter at a press conference at National Press Club with her husband off the scene on Monday.

Leaders of pro-BNP platform of Adarsha Dhaka Andolon (ideal Dhaka movement) were present at the press conference.

Afroza Abbas said if elected, her husband would focus on city governance, city plan, city rods and transport management, education and health services, environment protection, accommodation, law and order, human rights, social safety, women’s rights and information technology to make the liveable, safe and clean.

Convener of the platform Prof Emajuddin Ahamed, Member Secretary Shawkat Mahmud, BNP leader Hannan Shah and others were present at the press conference.
