PM doesn`t do politics on administration: Syed Ashraf

Staff Correspondent: Ruling Awami League general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam, also minister for public administration, opined that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina doesn`t do politics on administration.

The Minister made the comment while talking to journalists after addressing a joint meeting on the occasion of arranging programmes for National Mourning Day August 15 at Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina`s political office at Dhanmondi in the capital on Tuesday noon.

Syed Ashraf said that the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina never did politics on administration. She wants skilled officials in administration.

I also believe in the policy, he added.

Ashraful also said, "After taking oath as minister, I have become an employee of the government not the Awami League."  

He again said that the government will do their work and the party will do their task as usual.

Awami League Joint Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif, BM Mozammel Haque, AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Dr Abdus Sobahan Golap, Abdul Mannan Khan, Dr Badiuzzaman Bhuiyan Dablu and other leaders attended the meeting.
