Staff Correspondent: BNP Standing Committee Member Brig Gen (retd) ASM Hannan Shah expressed deep concerns about recent killings including a police constable as real culprits are yet to arrest.
The BNP leader made the comment while addressing a discussion organized by Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) at National Press Club in the city to mark ‘National Revolution and Solidarity Day’ on November 7.
He said, “Police have lost their morale. They are becoming victims of repeated attacks. Their main attention is now centered on attacking opposition leaders. They are also committing crime and extortion. For this, they are losing their skill.”
“Police are concentrating on the duties that do not belong to them,” he opined.
He alleged that Police are engaged in trade of arrests.
