BNP attacked Khaleda's motorcade: Obaidul Quader

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said that BNP attacked Khaleda Zia's motorcade and media vehicles.

The Awami League leader made the allegation while addressing a commemorative meeting at Haildhor High School ground in Anwara Upazila in Chittagong on Saturday noon.

He said, "If Awami League attacked the motorcade in Feni then why they will attack journalists? Even, no BNP leaders and activists were injured during the attack. Actually, BNP attacked journalists to get media coverage."

Obaidul Quader said, "I want to say it was a preplanned attack."

"Khaleda Zia went to Cox's Bazar and Chittagong by road skipping air route. She fully blocked Chittagong-Cox's Bazar road," he added.

Awami League Anwara Upazila unit President Abdul Mannan presided over the meeting that was addressed by Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif, Sate Minister for Land Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, AL Organising Secretary AKM Enamul Haque Shamim, Deputy Office Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua and Deputy Publicity Secretary Aminul Islam.
