Actor Farooque buys nomination form for Gazipur-5

Staff Correspondent: Prominent actor Farooque Ahmed has bought nomination paper of the ruling Awami League (AL) for vying in Gazipur-5 constituency in the upcoming 11th general election.

He purchased the nomination form from AL president’s Dhanmondi political office of the capital on Sunday noon.

Actor Zayed Khan, Joy Chowdhury among others accompanied him at the moment.

Mentionable, according to the schedule announced by the Election Commission (EC) on November 08, the voting for the parliamentary election will be held on December 23. The last date of submitting nomination paper is November 19 while the last date of scrutinising paper is November 22. The last date of candidature withdrawal is November 29.
