PM inaugurates Krishak League conference

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated the 10th national conference of Bangladesh Krishak League (BKL) at the capital’s historic Suhrawardy Udyan.

PM opened the ceremony of the front organisation of ruling Awami League (AL) around 11:15am on Wednesday.

Earlier, PM reached the venue at 11:09am.

Krishak League president Motahar Hossain Mollah and general secretary Shamsul Haque Reza received PM. The premier waved her hand as leaders and activists were chanting different slogans and clapping for PM.

The last conference of BKL was held on July 19 of 2012. It is mentioned here that the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman founded the Bangladesh Krishak League on April 19 of 1972.
