GM Quader tests positive for coronavirus

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman and Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Parliament GM Quader, MP, has been diagnosed with coronavirus (Covid-19).

He is currently undergoing treatment at his Uttara residence in the capital as per the doctor’s advice. However, he does not have any major complication rather than dry cough. He is normal and in good health.

GM Quader’s personal secretary and Jatiya Party’s joint treasurer Abu Tayyab confirmed the information on Thursday (January 14) morning.

Abu Tayyab said, “Covid-19 test result of Sir (GM Quader) came positive on Tuesday. However, his physical condition is good. He is undergoing treatment at home as per the doctor’s advice.”

He will be tested for coronavirus again for further confirmation, GM Quader’s personal secretary added.
