BCL asked to get ready to fight against conspiracies

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has asked the leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) to get ready to fight against conspiracies likely to be created insatiability at educational institutions by different quarters.

He made the directive at a discussion organized by Dhaka University (DU) BCL unit on the occasion of ‘Mourning Day’ at the Awami League’s central office on Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital on Friday (August 27).

Obaidul Quader said, “The politics of conspiracy is still going on in Bangladesh. Young people need to be careful. There are more difficult challenges ahead. After the change of power in a Southeast Asian country, those who rejoice here, it needs to understand what their intentions are.”

He said, “Remember, there may be instability in the campuses due to various tactics as educational institutions are set to reopen. The university is opening soon. But you have to take the streets firmly. Many evil forces will come on the field this time, will challenge. They are preparing, they will create instability on campuses.”

He said, “We have seen the movements demanding for quota reform and safe roads. We have seen anarchy in the name of the movement. They are preparing for that movement as well as instability.”
