Tofail Ahmed taken to Delhi for treatment

Awami League Advisory Council member and former minister Tofail Ahmed has been taken to Delhi for better treatment.

An air ambulance carrying the politician left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for Delhi at 11:00am on Friday.

Tofail Ahmed's private assistant Abul Khayer said that the MP suffered stroke on August 30 and was admitted to Squire Hospital.

He has been suffering from heart-related problem and neurology for several years.
