Murad Hassan relieved from Jamalpur district Awami League

Dr Murad Hassan has been relieved from the post of health and population affairs secretary of Jamalpur district unit of Awami League.
Jamalpur district unit of Awami League took the decision at an emergency meeting on Tuesday evening (December 7).
President of Jamalpur district unit of Awami League Advocate Md Baki Billah confirmed the news to risingbd.
He said both the government and Awami League are feeling embarrassed with the indecent remarks of Murad Hassan.
Murad Hassan has resigned as state minister for information and broadcasting following the instruction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for his offensive and indecent remarks.
The under-fire junior minister submitted his resignation letter to the Prime Minister on Tuesday citing ‘personal reasons’ for quitting his job.
Dr Murad is being criticised heavily on social media for his recent offensive comments.
