Dhaka City South Awami League to hold rally Dec 9

Dhaka City South Awami League has announced to hold a rally in the capital on December 9. They will hold programme in front of the 2nd gate of the stadium in the south of the National Mosque Baitul Mokarram at 4:00 pm on the day.

General Secretary of Awami League and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader will be the chief guest in the rally.

Dhaka City South Awami League office secretary Riaz Uddin Riaz confirmed the information on Tuesday (November 22).

Meanwhile, BNP has announced to hold a Dhaka divisional mass rally at Nayapaltan of the capital on December 10. The leaders of the party have also sought permission in written from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

But the police have not given permission to BNP yet. Officials of DMP said they will be informed whether BNP will be allowed after the ‘risk’ verification.

BNP has announced to hold a rally in front of the party’s central office in Nayapaltan. Speaking at a rally on Tuesday (November 22), BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir informed that the BNP rally will be held in Nayapaltan.
