BCL names Saddam as president, Sheikh Wali gen secy

The central executive committee of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student wing of ruling Bangladesh Awami League (AL), has been announced.

Saddam Hossain and Sheikh Wali Asif Enan have been named as president and general secretary of the pro-Awami League student body.

AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader announced the names of the leaders of the new committee after a meeting with the party President Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday night (December 20).

Mazharul Kabir Shoyon and Tanbir Hasan Shaikat were appointed as president and general secretary, respectively, of Chhatra League's Dhaka University unit.

Earlier, the council of Dhaka University's Chhatra League unit was held on December 3 in front of the historic arts building of the university.
