Kabir Bin Anwar to become PM`s political adviser!

Former cabinet secretary Kabir Bin Anwar is going to become Prime Minister’s political advisor.

Sources said already the decision has been taken in this regard. The formal announcement of his appointment to this position will be made soon.

Earlier, he was appointed as cabinet secretary on December 11, last year. Later, he was sent on post-retirement leave on January 3.

Party insiders said that Kabir Bin Anwar will replace the post of PM’s former political adviser HT Imam. After the demise of HT Imam, Awami League was looking for a skilled person like him. HT Imam died at the Combined Military Hospital on March 4, 2021.

On Thursday evening (January 5), Kabir visited Awami League president's political office at Dhanmondi. Meanwhile, AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader welcomed Kabir to the office as several thousand ruling party activists, gave him a round of applause outside the office. Later, AL Office Secretary Biplab Barua took him to a room, where AL President Sheikh Hasina's former political adviser HT Imam used to sit, and gave him a bouquet there.
