Japanese envoy meets BNP leaders

Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh, Iwama Kiminori has held a meeting with leaders of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), led by its Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

The meeting took place at the BNP chairperson’s political office in Dhaka’s Gulshan at 10:00 am on Sunday (June 4).

The meeting was attended by BNP Standing Committee members Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Shama Obaed, and others.

Miss Igai, the first political secretary of the Embassy of Japan, accompanied the Japanese ambassador.

BNP press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed about the meeting. He, however, could not tell what issues were discussed in the meeting.
