Rowshan Ershad declared Jatiya Party chairman

Opposition leader and key patron of Jatiya Party Begum Rowshan Ershad has been announced as the chairman of the party.

The party issued a press notification in this regard on Tuesday (August 22).

Removing the GM Quader, the chairman of the expired party committee, Rowshan Ershad took charge of the party ahead of the tenth national council.

Confirming the matter, joint convener of the preparation committee Kazi Mamunur Rashid said madam (Rowshan Ershad) has taken the charge of Jatiya Party Chairman based on the opinion of presidium members and parliamentarians. From now on she is the legitimate chairman of the Jatiya Party.
