Natore-4 MP Prof Abdul Quddus dies

Natore-4 constituency lawmaker and President of Natore district unit of Awami League Md Professor Abdul Quddus passed away at a private hospital in the capital (Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun).

He was 82.

He breathed his last at 7:20 am on Wednesday (August 30) while undergoing treatment at United Hospital in the capital.

Ibrahim Ali, personal secretary to MP Abdul Quddus, confirmed his death.

Earlier on Saturday (August 26) evening, he was admitted to the hospital with respiratory problems. Later, he was taken to ICU (Intensive Care Unit) as his Oxygen level continued to reduce.

Quddus, also a freedom fighter, was elected MP of Natore-4 constituency for five times.
