Jamaat also calls hartal on Sunday

After BNP’s announcement for hartal, Jamaat-e-Islami has also called hartal for Sunday.

Acting Secretary General of the party Maulana ATM Masum made the announcement in a statement on Saturday evening.

ATM Masum said police illegally arrested over 300 leaders-activists of Jamaat from across the country to foil its rally at Shapla Chattar.

BNP has called countrywide hartal for Sunday in protest against police attack on their rally.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the hartal from their Nayapaltan rally in the city on Saturday.
