PM announces plans to set up BKSP in every division

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has announced that her government will set up Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) in every division to provide sports training in boys and girls and create better coaches.

The prime minister said this while inaugurating the final round of the 52nd National Winter Sports Competition of schools, madrasas and technical institutes on Wednesday (February 7).

She joined the programme virtually from her official residence Ganabhaban.

Sheikh Hasina said, “Developing trainers is also urgently needed. We will set up BKSP in every eight division for that purpose and make the children more skilful in the sports.”

She said that our children are talented. They can do better if given a chance.
