Shahbagh blocked demanding July charter, traffic movement halted

July fighters have blocked Shahbagh intersection in the capital demanding July charter.

Carrying banners, posters and national flags, more than a hundred July fighters started gathering at Shahbagh intersection from 11 am on Thursday (July 31), with vehicular movement coming to a standstill on both sides of the intersection and causing traffic congestion on nearby roads.

Meanwhile, members of law enforcement agencies are on high alert to prevent any untoward situation.

According to the July fighters, the families of the injured and martyrs took to the street as the demand of July charter is not met yet.
