Burn patient Khaledur tests Covid-19 positive

Khaledur Rahman, 60, received seriously burn injury in the incident of the BM Container Depot fire at Sitakunda in Chattogram.

He was admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (SHNIBPS) in Dhaka.

But he tested Covid-19 positive, and on Monday (June 6) night was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

Residential surgeon of SHNIBPS SM Ayub Hossain confirmed this on Tuesday. He said Khaledur Rahman received 12 percent burn injury.

The massive blaze killed at least 41 people.
