15 more die from dengue

15 more dengue patients died across the country in the past 24 hours till Wednesday (September 27), raising the number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease to 958.

According to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), a total of 2,950 new dengue patients were hospitalised.

During the period, 726 dengue patients were hospitalised in Dhaka city while 2,224 were admitted to different hospitals outside it, the DGHS daily statement added.

With the new cases, the total number of patients rose to 1,96,831, the statement said, adding this year, some 1,85,906 patients were released from different hospitals out of the total patients.
