The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken strict action against three women cricketers for indiscipline.
As per reports, the incident took place during Pakistan’s National Women’s Cricket Championship.
The Pakistani media has reported that two players, Sadaf Shams and Yusra inflicted physical harm on their Ayesha Bilal. Ayesha was left with a bleeding nose after the altercation with Sadaf and Yusra. Ayesha initially decided against taking action and remained silent for two days before changing her mind.
She lodged a formal complaint against Sadaf and Yusra before the PCB decided to take action. The cricket board has banned all three players on a temporary basis and has barred them from participating in any cricketing activity until further notice. The matter will be further investigated by Tania Malik, the Chairperson of Women’s Cricket.
