Foreign cricketers on the team of Durbar Rajshahi team have boycotted the match after not receiving their payments.
The matter was confirmed when the bus of the Rajshahi team arrived without foreign players at the field on Sunday evening (January 26).
When asked about changes in the playing XI, skipper Taskin said, "There are a few changes."
When asked how many changes are being made, Taskin said, "Foreigners are not playing."
According to BPL rules, at least two foreign players are required in the playing XI in a Franchise. But, Rajshahi Durbar announced their playing XI for today’s match against Rangpur Riders with no foreign players in the line-up, a clear deviation from the rules.
Salim Shahed, match referee told risingbd that based on Rajshahi's request, the BPL Technical Committee has given permission. I am conducting the match as per the protocol.
