Bangladesh starts well against Singapore

Bangladesh team started well against Singapore in a crucial Group C clash of the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 Qualifiers at the National Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday (June 10).

Although, after the first 10 minutes, Bangladesh could not score any goal. However, Singapore could not score any goal either.

Earlier, the Group C match kicked off at 7 pm local time.

After the first round Group C matches, all the four teams -- Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India and Singapore--have secured one point each after playing goalless draw with each other.

Adding to the sense of occasion, the match will mark Bangladesh’s return to competitive international football at home with a stronger and more dynamic lineup than in recent years.

The Bangladesh squad has been bolstered by the high-profile inclusion of two Bangladesh origin highly rated booters--English Premier League playing defensive midfielder Hamza Dewan Chowdhury and Canadian national team and premier league playing midfielder Shamit Shome.
