Singapore beat Bangladesh by 2-1

Singapore football team finally beat the Bangladesh by 2-1 in a crucial Group C clash of the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 Qualifiers at the National Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday (June 10).

Despite the repeated attacks, the hosts failed to overcome the Singapore team. Bangladesh ended their first half trailing 0-1 goal. In the first 45 minutes, the hosts arranged many attacks and got a free kick and a corner.

On the contrary, the visitors scored their first goal at 45 minutes and completed the first half of the match. Jordan Emaviwe passed the ball to Faris Ramli. Then, Song Uiyoung netted the first goal.

Bangladesh suffered the second blow when Singapore player Ikhsan Fandi Ahad scored another goal at 59 minutes.

In reply, Bangladesh managed to score a goal at 67 minutes. Meanwhile, Rakib Hossain netted the ball with Hamza Choudhury’s pass. Later, the hosts tried their best but ultimately failing short as Singapore clinched the victory.
