Bangabandhu Gold Cup final: Bangladesh 2, Malaysia 2

Staff Correspondent: The Final match of the Bangabandhu Gold Cup international Football Tournament started at 5:00pm at the Bangabandhu National Stadium today.

Bangladesh and Malaysia are fighting for the title of the Bangabandhu Gold Cup.

Malaysia made the breakthrough when Nazirul Nayem, the Malaysian captain, curved a free kick into the left hand post of Bangladeshi goalie Sohel at 31 minute. Malaysia goes ahead 1-0.  

Ten minutes later, Kumaran scored for Malaysia after taking control of Md, Sayazwan through and placed into the far post from the middle of the box. 2-0

Bangladesh pulled one back defender Nasir heads on long throw from a Raihan Hasan in from a goal mouth melee at 48 minute. 2-1

Bangladesh leveled the score through defender Yasin khan who heads a Mamunul Islam corner into the near post at 53 minute. 2-2
