Sport Desk: Mahmudullah Riyad became the first Bangladesh batsman to score a World Cup century in the 33rd match of Pool A clash against England in the ICC Cricket World Cup at the Adelaide Oval on Monday.
The 29 year right hand batsman reached his century on the 3rd ball of 44th over taking a single off Stuart Broad. This is the first century for Bangladesh in the World Cup.
Mahmudullah completed his century off 131 balls hitting 7 fours and 2 sixes.
He was run out adding more 3 runs at the career-best 103.
Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur Rahim added 141 runs in the 5th wicket partnership.
Bangladesh scored 275 runs for seven wickets after they were sent to bat first.
