Dhoni, Mustafizur fined

Sport Desk: India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been fined 75% of his match fee while Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman was penalised 50% of his match fee over the shoving incident in the first One-Day cricket International on Thursday.

Match referee Andy Pycroft summoned India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni for shoving Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahaman during the match.

The incident happened in the 25th over of the Indian innings when Dhoni found the pacer standing in his way while taking a run and he forcefully pushed Mustafizur to complete the single.

Pacer Mustafizur was hurt and had to temporarily retire without completing his spell but came back later.

Debutant pacer Mustafizur Rahman claimed five wickets in his debut One Day International to thrash India by 79 runs in the first ODI to lead the three-match series 1-0 in Dhaka on the day.
