Pacer Rubel confirms his marriage

Sport Correspondent: Bangladesh fast bowler Rubel Hossain, who made headlines for his relationship with model and actress Naznin Akter Happy, on Saturday, confirmed that he got married.

Though the 26-year old pacer did not disclose the date of his marriage, he said that the wedding took place when the Bangladesh team were preparing for ICC World T20 that held in India from March 8 to April 3.

While talking to risingbd.com over phone, Rubel said that he is having a happy married life with his wife at his flat in Mirpur.

However, Rubel does not want to disclose the identity of his life-partner.

Rubel made headlines when actress Naznin Akter Happy filed a rape case against him with the Mirpur Model Police Station under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act on December 13 last year.

Happy alleged that the national pacer had physical relationship with her for several times luring her for a marriage but later refused to marry her.

Ruble had to go to jail but secured to win the legal battle.

He is currently playing for Prime Bank Cricket Club in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League.
