Earlier, host India declared their innings at lunch after setting a target of 459 runs for Bangladesh at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday.
Shakib Al Hasan was batting on 21 from 42 and Mahmudullah Riyad on 9 when the umpires decided to call off play for the day. In the last session of day-4, 103 runs were scored for the loss of three wickets.
