Sports Correspondent: USA Grandmaster Nakamura Hikaru beat Bangladeshi Grandmaster Mollah Abdullah Al Rakib in the World Cup Chess’2017 in Tbilisi of Georgia.
GM Rakib lost his both games in 1st round against GM Nakamura on Sunday (September 3).
Earlier, Rakib qualified for the prestigious world event as the champion of Asian Zonal 3.2 Open Chess Championship held in Nepal in March last.
A total of 128 qualified players from all over the world, including current world chess champion Magnus Carlsen, participated in the event on a knock-out system.
