Rony strikes his third double ton for Dhaka Division

Sports Correspondent: As the second cricketer, Rony Talukdar struck a double hundred for Dhaka Division against Chattogram in the second innings in the 20th Walton National Cricket League (NCL) Tier- 2, country’s prestigious longer version cricket league, at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah today.

This is the third double century of Rony Talukdar in the first class cricket.

Rony hit a century and remained unbeaten yesterday. Today, he made it a double century before Dhaka declared their second innings at 385 for one to take a lead of 481, having bowled Chattogram out for 142 in the first innings. He still remained unbeaten at 228 runs. His unbeaten 252-ball 228 knock contained 18 fours and seven sixes.

Earlier, national batsman Ariful Haque made his maiden double century for Rangpur Division against Barishal on the 2nd day of the four-day Tier-1 match of the 20th National Cricket League (NCL) at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogura on Tuesday.
