Afif hits record of 7 wickets

Sports Desk: There was a record of taking seven wickets in first nine matches of the first-class cricket career. But now allrounder Afif Hossain hit a record of 7-wicket in a single match.
Afif Hossain Dhrubo bagged seven wickets for 66 runs against Rajshahi Division in the 20th Walton National Cricket League (NCL).
The 19-year-old Afif is actually a top order batsman, but he is stuck with spin bowling regularly.
He became the youngest to take a T20 five-for 21 on his debut for Rajshahi Kings against Chittagong Vikings in the BPL 2016. Since then, he could not star in bowling.
Meanwhile, he debuted in the T-20 international for Bangladesh against Sri Lanka in February this year. Though he took a wicket in the match, but made duck in batting.
This year in the first-class cricket, the allrounder stared again as he took seven wickets in a match.
Afif bagged 3 wickets of Rajshahi out of 6 fell on the day-2. On the day-3, he took other four wickets.
He fulfilled his five-wicket haul, returning Sanzamul Islam and Delwar Hossain. Later, he smashed wickets of Taijul Islam and Shafiul Islam.
Seven-wicket for 66 runs is not only career best bowling for Afif, till now it is top bowling performance in the national cricket league this year.
