Toss delayed due to rain

Sports Desk: The toss for the Bangladesh versus Sri Lanka clash in Bristol of England has been delayed due to rain.

The match was scheduled to start 3:30pm (Bangladesh Time) but delayed following the heavy rain. Umpires visited the field once, they will check the field again one hour late.

The forecast is for light rain all day.

Bangladesh started their world cup mission winning a dashing match against South Africa. Later, the Tigers fought till the end against New Zealand but failed to achieve victory. In last match, Bangladesh lost in a measurable condition against England. Shakib Al Hasan’s century was the only achievement in that match. So, today’s game is crucial for Bangladesh team.

On the contrary, Sri Lanka was defeated by New Zealand beat in their opening match of the ongoing ICC championship. Later, Lankans won against Afghanistan.
