Tigers lose toss, sent to field in one-off Test

Abu Hossain Porag: Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan won the toss and opted to bat first in the one-off Test match against Bangladesh at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.

The match began at 10:00am.

Bangladesh cricket team, led by captain Shakib Al Hasan, included four spinners in the squad and brought in Mosaddek for playing as additional batsman.

On the other hand, Afghanistan brought the same number of spinners in the squad. Zahir Khan and Qais Ahmed made their debut in the Test match while opener batsman Ibrahim Zadran got Test cap.

Afghanistan’s XI: Ihsanullah Janat, Ibrahim Zadran, Rahmat Shah, Hashmatullah Shahidi, Asghar Afghan, Afsar Zazai, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan (captain), Zahir Khan, Qais Ahmed, Yamin Ahmadzai.

Bangladesh's XI: Sadman Islam, Soumya Sarkar, Mominul Haque, Shakib Al Hasan (captain), Mushfiqur Rahim, Liton Das, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mosaddek Hossain, Mehidy Hasan, Taijul Islam, Nayeem Hasan.
