Bangladesh woman cricket team have won the gold medal beating Sri Lanka by two runs in the ongoing 13th South Asian Games in Nepal.

Bangladesh under 23 women team struggled to get going with the bat from the off after being sent in to bat, managing just 91 for 8 in the final in Pokhara.

Bangladesh successfully defended seven runs in the last over as Sri Lanka finished their innings 89 for nine.
