Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal's record 158 leaves Zimbabwe with a mammoth task.
He scored 158 runs today. It was his highest ODI score.
After the first innings, Tamim said, “Our team goal is that someone from the top five has to bat through the first 40 overs. It was my turn today.”
He said, “I have been batting well. I would like to thank the team management, and my team-mates for believing in me. I have been hitting the ball really well, and it was all about the process. I got lucky early and that kept me going. I just kept looking to hit straight and went on.”
Tamim Iqbal’s dashing century propelled Bangladesh to score 322 runs in 50 overs losing only 8 wickets.
