BCB polls: Nazmul Hasan Papon bought nomination

The incumbent president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), Nazmul Hasan Papon, has bought nomination papers to participate in the BCB election.

BCB’s election is scheduled to hold on October 6. Today was the last day of buying nomination paper.

Papon arrived at BCB officer around 2:00 pm and collected nomination form from category-2. He got councillorship from Dhaka’s traditional club Abahani Limited.

After buying the nomination form, Nazmul Hasan said, “I am too much happy. Yesterday I saw on TV that there are many new faces... This is what I wanted.”

Papon has been the president since AHM Mustafa Kamal left in 2012. Papon won the 2013 and 2017 elections.
