Bangladesh to co-host 2031 World Cup with India

India and Bangladesh will jointly host ICC World Cup in 2031.

International Cricket Council (ICC) disclosed this at a press release on Tuesday.

Earlier, Bangladesh co-hosted 2011 ODI World Cup with India and Sri Lanka. At that time, eight matches were played in Bangladesh. It is expected that more than eight matches will be played in Bangladesh in 2031 as only two countries will host the event.

In the press release, ICC mentioned all mega events till 2031.

India will solely host ODI World Cup in 2023, and next ODI World Cup will be held in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia in 2027.

Pakistan and India will host two Champions Trophy events in 2025 and 2029 respectively.

2024 T20 World Cup will be held in the USA and West Indies, 2026 T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka, 2028 T20 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand and 2030 T20 World Cup in England, Ireland and Scotland.
