Walton becomes title sponsor of Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier League

Walton, the country’s leading electrical, electronic goods and automobiles manufacturing company, has become the title sponsor of Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier League for the 10th straight year.

The official name of the tournament is ‘Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League 2021-22 Sponsored by Walton’.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the name of Walton Group as the sponsor of Bangabandhu DPL at a press conference at the Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium, Mirpur in Dhaka on Monday (March 14).

BCB chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury, Walton Group Senior Executive Director and CMO Md Firoj Alam, Walton Group Additional Operative Director Milton Ahmed, CCDM Chairman M Salahuddin Chowdhury, member secretary Ali Hossain and Coordinator Amin Khan.

Dhaka League with 11 teams is scheduled to start from Tuesday (March 15). The best clubs in Dhaka will compete for supremacy in Mirpur and BKSP.
