BCB U-16 bowler takes 9 wickets in an innings

Sports Correspondent, DHAKA, Nov 4: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Under 16 team’s bowler Siddikur Rahman Showen claimed nine wickets in an innings.

Siddikur achieved the success for 84 runs in the first innings of visiting Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) Under 16 team during the second three-day match at the outer ground of Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium, Cox’s Bazar Monday.

The left-arm spinner, a student of Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP), sent down 41.1 overs in the innings 13 of which were maidens.

Incidentally, Siddikur was involved in all ten dismissals in the MPCA innings as he had a hand in the run out of MPCA opener Rishabh Choubey.

His brilliant performance kept the visitors score to 290 all out.
