Bangladesh beat UAE by 7 runs

Bangladesh cricket team has secured a victory in the first match of the T20 series beating United Arab Emirates by 7 runs in Dubai on Sunday (September 25).

Sent to bat, Afif Hossain’s 77 off 55 balls, skipper Nurul Hasan’s 35 off 25 balls and Liton Das's 14 runs helped the Bangladesh side to post a fighting score of 158 for five.

UAE fall short of 7 runs despite a superb innings of 151.

Afif Hossain was awarded the man of the match for his outstanding performance.

Earlier, the hosts won the toss and put Bangladesh in to bat first.
